Support Form for Stranded Afghans

About the Program

After the fall of the Afghan Republic Government in August 2021, many countries evacuated their partners, human rights defenders, and other Afghans who were at risk. During the same period, the Government of Canada welcomed about 55,000 Afghans and helped them settle in Canada. However, thousands of Afghans are still stranded in Afghanistan and other countries and are waiting for an opportunity to come to Canada.

Many Afghans have informed The Afghan International Human Rights Organization that their family members, relatives, and friends are still stranded in Afghanistan or other countries. Therefore, the organization would like to collect information about these individuals and share it with the Government of Canada, Parliament, and other relevant authorities to help find solutions for family reunification and the relocation of stranded Afghans.
